At Summer Boarding Courses, we believe that learning should be
fun, exciting, and full of new experiences. Our programmes help
students grow in condence, discover new interests, and make friends
from around the world. Every course is carefully planned to be safe,
supportive, and unforgettable.
Choosing the right summer school for your child is an important
decision. We want to make this decision simple, positive, and full of
opportunities.
Since 2008, more than 20,000 students from 155 countries have joined
SBC at our schools across the UK. Every year, we see how learning
together helps young people open their minds, build friendships, and
create memories that last a lifetime. Its this mix of cultures, ideas, and
laughter that makes our summer experiences so special.
This year, we are proud to introduce the SBC Pathway, a clear
journey that supports your child’s growth at every stage. From the
rst adventures away from home in our Explorer Programmes, to
the collaboration and creativity of our Adventure Programmes, to
our College Pathways that prepare older students for university
and beyond - each step helps students become more condent,
independent, and ready for the future.
Every part of our pathway has a clear purpose. We want every
student to feel valued, inspired, and supported as they grow not just
academically, but as kind, condent global citizens.
Our mission is simple: to unite the cultures of the world through
education. We hope every child who joins us leaves with stronger
academic skills, wonderful friendships, and a better understanding
of the world. At SBC, learning is about more than lessons - it’s about
discovering who you are and how you can make a dierence.
We can’t wait to welcome your family to Summer Boarding Courses,
and to share a summer of learning, laughter, and memories that will
last a lifetime.

Wake Up & Breakfast
The day begins with cheerful wake-up calls from
House Parents and the pastoral team, who help
everyone get ready for another exciting day. After

Wake Up & Breakfast
The day begins with cheerful wake-up calls from
House Parents and the pastoral team, who help
everyone get ready for another exciting day. After
a short House Meeting - a chance to check in and
share announcements - students head to breakfast
in the dining hall. Theres plenty of choice, setting
everyone up for the busy morning ahead.
09.00 – 10.30
Subject Lessons
The rst lesson of the day blends theory and practice

Whether they’re designing eco-friendly transport

A Typical Day
07.30 – 08.45
Wake Up & Breakfast
The day begins with breakfast in the college dining
halls. College mentors are on hand to sign students
in before students sit down to a healthy rst meal of
the day with their friends.
08.45 – 09.00

Students then make the short walk from their
accommodation across Oxford in time for the

as inspiring them with a Thought of the Day.
09.00 – 10.30
Academic Programme
Whether Business, Medicine, Law, or Global
Leadership, the rst lesson of the day is a practical
and engaging seminar, where students are
